LeBron James appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Wednesday and a lot of big headlines came out of the interview.
James didn’t pull any punches and touched upon a bunch of subjects, including the current state of sports media.
Speaking about the people who report on the NBA, James made a bold statement.
“There’s so many guys out there talking about basketball that just don’t know the game,” James said, per Legion Hoops.

James has always had a complicated relationship with the media and the people who report on his career.
He has repeatedly called out insiders and analysts who have spoken about him or the state of his teams or his pleasure or dissatisfaction with others.
He is not afraid of sharing his opinion, no matter who it upsets.
The NBA receives more attention than ever before due to the internet and the 24-hour networks.
It seems that every little move is dissected and talked about for a very long time but James feels that many of the people having these discussions don’t know what they are talking about.
They might study the game, but they don’t know the ins and outs.
This is just one of several things that James said in his interview that is sure to gain a lot of headlines.
He also talked about his conditioning, other players, and called out specific TV personalities.
Ironically, it is the very people whom James is calling out that will talk the most about this latest statement.
They are sure to share their own opinions and push back, but will James respond?
