The Detroit Pistons put the New York Knicks down on Thursday night, and it was a potential sneak peek of the upcoming playoffs.
Following the game, Cade Cunningham spoke about how “big” the latest win was and suggested that he and his team are ready to face the Knicks again in the postseason.
“We’ll see them later on if we see ’em,” Cunningham said, per New York Basketball.

This was the third time in a row that the Pistons defeated the Knicks, which is obviously a good sign for Detroit.
Unsurprisingly, Cunningham was massive during the game, posting 36 points and eight assists.
Meanwhile, Jalen Duren scored 18 points, Tobias Harris put up 17, Ron Holland scored 13, and Tim Hardaway Jr. and Malik Beasley added 10.
Right now, the Pistons are the sixth seed in the East and the Knicks are the third.
That means they could be a first-round matchup.
The thought of that is surely scaring Knicks fans right now based on how poorly these last three games have gone for them.
The Knicks were hoping to have a terrific postseason, and they didn’t expect the sort of competition the Pistons have delivered.
In fact, no one expected this from the Pistons, but they have had a season to remember.
They look radically transformed from last season and are a legitimate threat.
One of the most exciting things about this Pistons team is that they are fearless and excited to battle hard and prove their worth.
They showed that on Thursday, and, based on these comments from Cunningham, they are ready to show it again in the postseason.
