The Atlanta Hawks sailed past the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday, and Zaccharie Risacher was a huge reason why.
According to the NBA on X, Risacher earned a career high in points with his 38.
That went along with his four rebounds and six three-pointers.
It was a good night for the Hawks and especially their rookie star.

It’s been an interesting season for the former No. 1 overall draft pick.
Some people were disappointed by the first few months from Risacher and he has certainly been inconsistent at times all year.
But games like this one on Thursday show that Risacher could be a real talent in the NBA for a long time.
His season average is currently 12.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists on 45.8 percent from the field and 35.5 percent from the three-point line.
Meanwhile, the Hawks are the eighth team in the East, which means they will be battling in the Play-In Tournament next week.
Right now, it looks like they will play against the Orlando Magic, but there is also a chance they could face the Chicago Bulls or Miami Heat.
No matter who they play, competition will be tough and the Hawks need to be tougher.
Reaching the playoffs in his first year would be a huge accomplishment for Risacher.
There are a lot of questions about this Hawks team, including what the roster will look like in the future.
Will Risacher stick around in Atlanta or move to another team?
That’s still not clear, but his performance on Thursday means that a lot of other squads will be interested in what Risacher can do.
His first season hasn’t been perfect, but Risacher obviously has potential.
